We offer a mentor-matching service, pairing women at each life stage with mentors who have been through the same experiences and who come from a similar industry background. Your mentor provides a safe space where you can be completely open about your your ambitions and your uncertainties. The advice and guidance she will offer is based on her own first-hand experience and is completely independent and objective.

What Makes Us different

How TALO is different from other types of workplace mentoring or coaching:

  • Our mentors come from the same or similar industry as their mentees, and work at the same level or higher.

  • Our mentors have been through the same life event as their mentees, so they have lived experience of the challenges they face.

  • Our mentees can be open and honest without fear, because what they say to their mentors will not be shared with their employer.

  • We foster simple, honest relationships between our mentors and mentees.

  • Your mentors offer deliberately practical advice. They provide their mentees with the tools, resources and information necessary to ensure they approach their working life with confidence.

  • There is a minimum number of sessions, but no maximum.  

  • We hope that our mentors and mentees will continue their relationship beyond the end of the official programme.

  • Our mentors have experience of all life stages
